I need help with a wordpress issue?
Keep in mind i know little to nothing about wordpress, web design etc. I chose a random theme to work with that id like to stay with if possible cause it fits my business. this is the site:

i do not know how to get rid of that 'home' tab. i know how to add tabs (pages) but i cant get rid of that first one. id keep it there if i could figure out how to put content onto it but its not a 'page' thats showing in my dashboard.

you need to go into
Appearance > editor > header.php and remove the listing of the home link in the nav menu.
If none of this makes sense, search the WordPress codex for detailed instructions.
It looks to me that you need to hire someone experienced to get this styled for you.
