quick simple WordPress question...?

anyone know why there is a lil' white border around my banner? because the banner size fits the size wordpress says will automatically put up without cropping, and my picture has not white border around it originally. so why is there a border? the picture before i put up the banner (it was some rainbow thing that came with the layout) did not have a white border around it. here is a screen shot (ignore the red outline, i took the faster screen shot which causes a red outline):

I think it's the CSS of the picture. Try and contact wordpress. I've never had problems like that.
